About The Therapist

Sarah Ayu is a certified and registered art psychotherapist with more than 800 clinical hours through her clinical training in an elder care centre, family services, and student care centre for children with disabilities. Sarah Ayu has substantial experience working with people ranging from young children to the elderly in the education and mental health field.

Utilizing person-centered and trauma-informed practices, she has experience working with individuals and groups with various diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and depression, and helping family units process separation to identify and resolve their core concerns.

Sarah Ayu has a keen interest in advocating the alternate modality of art therapy that marries the creative arts with the structure of psychodynamic theories to provide assistance for mental health and wellness. She truly believes that everyone deserves the time and space to heal and grow. She is eager and ready to welcome and embrace all walks of life both in the physical and digital space in their gentle healing journey.
